Nickname: Ju

My childhood and early teenage years were characterised by deep witchcraft problems that almost took my life and identity. I didn't know what it meant to be stable or secure or even hopeful. I almost didn't make it to school. In a miraculous twist of events, I got to a missionary school where a Baptist team brought a Christian film - "The Cross and the Switchblade" featuring the transformation of Nicky Cruz's life. I gave my life to Christ after watching the film. Since then - 22 years now - I have found new meaning in life - and not without challenges. The challenges have been so many that sometimes, I have felt too weak to go on but each time, I have felt the urging hand of God leading me on and on. My hope is secure now as I grow older and learning from past mistakes and experiences that Jeremiah 29:11 is indeed the heart of God for all His children - including me.

I take my love for photography from my grandfather who was a great photographer but mostly from the majesty of nature, which reminds me always what an awesome and sustaining God we serve who sustains the universe with such never fading beauty, even when much of it is undeveloped where I come from. "We are His people and the sheep of His pasture."
