I sensed God's presence in my life from early childhood. I attended a church with my family, but it wasn't until I was around 12 and started rebelling, acting out--and generally making a mess of my life--that I realized I was a sinner. The Lord used a couple of workers at a youth center to share with me about Jesus and His plan of salvation.

At 14, I confessed my sin nature to God and believed in Jesus Christ for salvation. Slowly after that, the Lord started showing me my behavior and actions were not pleasing to Him. I stopped drinking, smoking, using drugs, etc. I got involved in church, and got grounded in some really good Bible teaching.

When I went to college, I unfortunately succumbed to temptation and started up my old habits. It took 10 years and a failed marriage to an abusive alcholic for God to finally get my attention. It was a struggle to give up alcohol, but eventually as I yielded to God's will and not my own, He set me free.

My interest in photography is two-fold. I love photographing animals and nature--though admittedly I'm not very good. Second, I'm always looking for photos to use on the websites that I design.
