Chocolate - China

Nickname: Chocolate

Jesus changed my life and me. Before I met Christ, I was an arrogant and lonely person who did not have any direction in my life, or a goal. I did not know why I was living. In China, the educational and social environment hindered me to know Christ.

In 1997, a woman from Singapore came to visit her sister, and this woman shared the Gospel with me. I accepted Jesus into my heart. Afterwards, Jesus changed my disposition and my entire life. After the Singapore woman returned home, I did not hear from her but I started to meet with other Christians and study the Bible with her sister. Now I continue meeting with my group.

In 2003, I resolved to serve God. Because God is calling me, I am willing to help more people to be able to know Jesus. This is the true eternal but valuable works.

He told me, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (Romans 12:1-2)

I have been a photojournalist for 7 years, and I take pictures for Chinese magazines; my area of interest is special reporting. I'm a freelance photographer now. Chocolate is my English name.
