"Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples." - Psalm 96:3

I was always searching for Christ. I grew up in a Catholic home, but I was never satisfied with the formality of my relationship with Christ.

In the seventh grade, I stopped going to church except sporadically and during my college years, I drifted even further from the Lord. God then began placing certain people in my life. The first person was a non-believer who indirectly began my search for the living God. I went on a mountain climbing trip with a crazed roommate. We ice climbed a glacier and glissaded (slid) back down. On the way down, I began rapidly descending toward some rocks sticking up from the surface of the glacier and started to panic. Suddenly a calmness came over me. There was almost like a voice inside my head that told me to switch my climbing staff to the other side and dig in. I slowly turned away from the all the rocks but one. When I was just about to hit it, I kicked up my heels and arched up my back. The bottom of my pants was torn out, but I was otherwise fine. That moment has stayed with me the rest of my life, for then I knew there is a caring, loving God who watches over me. I was still lost in sin however, and in need of spiritual guidance.

God then planted two Christian friends in my life - my future wife's best girlfriend and a coworker. Though their influence, I returned to church and finally dedicated my life to Jesus Christ. Praise the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for my life has never been the same since then!

I have been praying that the Lord would lead me to find a way where I could use my talents in photography for His use when I found this site. I am a part-time professional photographer. My paying-the-bills profession is as a science and math teacher in a middle school. Please keep me in your prayers - God's light and love to all of you.
