I was fortunate to have been born into a loving Christian family.

I have been listening to Gospel services at church for as long as I can remember. As a child of five, I remember being for the first time aware that God was trying to get through to me, and remember telling my parents that I had got saved. However it was simply because friends of my age group had recently gotten saved that I had told them that.

It wasn't until by the grace of God five years later, when I was ten years old, that I took the step of asking the Lord Jesus Christ to become my personal Saviour and gave my heart to Him.

Since then I have been walking with Him, and each day I find out more and learn to love Him more. I won't deny that I have had my share of growing pains. I often falter and stumble in my Christian life, but He's always there to gently guide me back to the right path, and I've found that each step draws me closer to Him.

A favourite verse of mine from the Bible is: Isaiah 55:8 - "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord.

God leads us into places that we just sometimes wouldn't expect. So I find myself trying out photography as part of my college course. I'm still very (very) much the amateur, but I enjoy taking nature photos as they cannot help but show forth His glory.
