Nickname: Xenia

I was introduced to Christ through my father when I was 7 years old. I was cribbing that I did not have enough good friends in school and then he told me, "If you have Jesus as your friend, you would not need any one else." I still remember those words.

Over the years as I have come across various situations, I have always looked up to the Shepherd of my heart.

Now that I live in my own place in a different city, I am learning to hear the still small voice of God. He was with me during my granny's illness. Following that, I had to be rushed to the hospital and operated on the very next day. I prayed for the Lord to touch me as the stitches were removed, now for every little thing I close my eyes and pray.

I will be completing a year away from home, and it has been a long journey...a tough and memorable one. I have felt the Lord coming closer to me every moment.
