PHOTOMISSION EXTOLS GOD AS IT OBSERVES FOUR YEARS OF MINISTRY

Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, USA - Cardiff, Wales, UK - Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - With all praise to God who leads them, PhotoMission's ministry team and members today rejoice in observing four years of ministry and look forward to new areas of service. PhotoMission engages in a wide range of activities, with each one supporting the expansion of God's Kingdom here on earth.

"One of the greatest joys we have as Christians is being absorbed in the function of the family of God as a participant, rather than a spectator," said Connie Wragge, ministry leader. "This is really what PhotoMission is all about - relating to, working with and caring for others who know and love God."

Recently, God saw to the global distribution of the PhotoMission-produced video, 'Every Knee Shall Bow.' As a result, the film has been downloaded by unknown numbers of people to encourage fresh interest in world missions and the fulfillment of Christ's command found in Matthew 28:18-20: Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age."

"When God created PhotoMission, He called us to abide in Him and promised that we would bear much fruit if we did," said Ian Homer. "More than any great photo we could ever hope to take, we want God to use us for His purposes."

"We will go to the far ends of the earth for Him," noted Jason Powers, the newest member of the PhotoMission ministry team. "He calls us to trust and obey."

"This is the kind of faith that pleases our Great God," concluded Ghani Zaman. "It has been exciting watching members of this ministry become involved in documenting an event like the Global Day of Prayer, stepping forward to serve as photojournalists, some for the first time."

PhotoMission is a worldwide community of Christian photographers honoring Christ through their lives and the talents He has given them. Among its other Spirit-led initiatives, the community receives and fills requests for photography originating with churches, mission organizations and Christian businesses.
