News ReleaseDated: Oct-22-2005 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT:
Connie Wragge, Ministry Team Leader & President PHOTOMISSION'S PHOTOGRAPHERS MARK THREE YEARS OF MINISTRY Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, USA - Cardiff, Wales, UK - Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India – From a God-given vision to the fulfillment of three years of ministry, PhotoMission's founding members today acclaim the truth of Psalm 33:4: "For the word of the LORD holds true and everything He does is worthy of our trust." "The question God asks of those who know Him as Lord is, 'How far are you willing to go to show your love for me?'" says Ghani Zaman. "When God calls His people to follow Him, it is our response to that question that counts most of all." "Placing the outcome of the vision in God's hands removes the stress of seeking success generated by a human-induced endeavor," says Ian Homer. "PhotoMission respresents God's creative genius, and it continues to unfold as one amazing story." Through the completion of requests for specific photography, PhotoMission’s photographers visually support the growth of the Gospel. In recent months, the fulfillment of imaging requests led to members’ photography being used to recruit staff for Youth with a Mission in Norway and in prayer guides published by the U.S. Center for World Mission, www.uscwm.org. "We find God sets the momentum for this Kingdom work, and step-by-step He shows us His plan for it," says Connie Wragge, ministry leader. "Earlier in the month, He took a new discussion forum live on the members' side of the website. With this addition, members can now exchange information about each other's photographs, receive email replies to their postings and ultimately, they have a much greater ability to interact with one another than they had previously." On the occasion of this year’s celebration, the web designer for the PhotoMission website, Andrew Milloy, and his wife, Anna, joined Connie Wragge, and her husband, John, to give thanks to God and to acknowledge His Greatness. PhotoMission presently has 129 members serving Christ in 21 countries.
