News ReleaseDated: Oct-22-2003 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Connie Wragge, Ministry Team Leader & President PHOTOMISSION'S PHOTOGRAPHERS CELEBRATE GOD'S FAITHFULNESS Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, USA - Cardiff, Wales, UK - Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India - PhotoMission's three founding members today praise God for his many blessings during the first year of the worldwide ministry. "One year ago we started with three members, and God has brought us twenty-six new photographers," said Connie Wragge. "He has also affirmed the vision He gave us that members' photography can be used for His purposes. It is so exciting to be part of such a dynamic ministry, never knowing where God will next lead us." "God hears the prayers of the people who receive weekly updates on our progress," explains Ghani Zaman. "As the number of photographers has grown, the power of prayer has likewise increased. PhotoMission is as much about connecting the global body of Christ as it is about photography. We thank all the members and everyone else on our prayer support team who stand with us in this adventure in faith." The most recent member to join PhotoMission is a photographer from Hong Kong. In the United States, photographers live in twelve states and the Virgin Islands. There are five photographers from India and four photographers from the United Kingdom. Each member posts his personal statement of faith on the PhotoMission website. The ministry further provides links to other websites, enabling visitors to learn more about what it means to have a personal relationship with Christ. Since the ministry first launched a year ago, citizens from nearly every country and island nation have logged onto www.photomission.com resulting in more than 15,000 unique visits. In addition to meeting requests for photography from mission organizations, ministries and churches, PhotoMission's members provide online consulting and educational tutoring. "There is no end to the list of ways God can continue to grow this ministry," stated Ian Homer. "We know that when we try to explain PhotoMission's growth, we cannot explain the genius of our Creator. It is by His grace and with His blessing that we thrive. His Hand is in what we are doing." |
