PHOTOMISSION DVD COMPLETED FOR GLOBAL CONSULTATION ON MUSIC AND MISSIONS
Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, USA - The members of PhotoMission today announce the completion of a nine-month project that has resulted in a DVD to be shown at the Global Consultation on Music and Missions (GCoMM), www.gcommhome.org. The five-day gathering of musicians, music missionaries, educators, worship pastors and Christian leaders from around the world will be held July 11-15 at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The DVD, designed and produced by Kingdom Works Pictures, uses photography and music to convey the anticipation of Christ's followers as they look forward to Jesus' return to earth. The film opens with scripture from Matthew 25:13, “Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour,” and takes its title, "Every Knee Shall Bow," from Romans 14:11: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow to me and every tongue will confess allegiance to God.’”
The music score, “As His Praise Goes On,” was written by Mark Beazley and includes a Hindusthani vocal by Chris Hale of Aradhna, www.aradhnamusic.com. The imagery, taken around the world, shows people going about their everyday lives and builds to a climax celebrating the day that is coming when praise to the King of kings will continue into eternity.
