PHOTO BANNERS TO DISPLAY 'FACES FROM AROUND THE WORLD' AT MISSIONS CONFERENCE

Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, USA – In response to a request received from the Baptist Missionary Association of America (BMAA) Department of Missions, PhotoMission's members completed work today on a photo project that will see their photography used to support global missions. Nineteen images, showing the diversity of the human face and printed on large banners, will help launch the "Great CoMission" campaign at the BMAA's annual meeting in Mobile, Alabama on April 24-26, 2006.

The project, which has been managed for the BMAA by Larry Thompson of Eternity Communications, www.eternitycommunications.com, contributes to a growing awareness of PhotoMission and its ability to deliver stock photography from its resources around the world.

"I was very excited to discover PhotoMission," said Thompson. "Other stock photography sources simply don't offer many images of missions and internationals, but PhotoMission has virtually an unlimited supply of good quality missions images, plus the service they provide makes it like getting custom photography without the custom price tag."

The Baptist Missionary Association of America (BMAA) is a fellowship of autonomous Baptist churches for the purpose of benevolence, Christian education and missions. There are national associations in countries other than the United States where in 2003, there were 234,110 members in 1,384 churches. Most Baptist churches participate in local and state associations as well as this national body. The BMAA office in the United States, www.bmaam.net, is located in Little Rock, Arkansas.

PhotoMission is a worldwide community of Christian photographers represented by 144 members living in 23 countries. Prior to the completion of this project, the ministry published a 2006 calendar which used missions photography to focus on the need to pray for Christ's followers living in isolated areas of the world.
