Members' photographs were submitted online after Ms. Chirdo completed the form found on the Photos 4 Sale page of the PhotoMission website, www.photomission.com. "In response to Christine's need, we asked our members to supply photographs showing people sharing God's Word and praising him. Then the photographers added a variety of images from around the world," said Connie Wragge, Ministry Team Leader. "The sale of these photographs affirms an important aspect of the vision God gave us for PhotoMission, that is to help our members use their photographic talent for His glory." Photographers who join PhotoMission participate in a worldwide community of Christian fellowship while simultaneously sharing their skills with one another. "The value of becoming a member reaches beyond any level of personal satisfaction - knowing you have met a need," explains Ian Homer of Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom. "By joining PhotoMission, a photographer testifies to who God is and in the case of Ms. Chirdo, we support her as a fellow believer in Christ." PhotoMission took no commission for making the sale. Adds Ghani Zaman of Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India, "As a new organization, God made this sale possible; by doing so, He allowed us to demonstrate our ability to help members sell their photography. For a photographer who is just starting his career to the professional who has been hard at work thirty years, PhotoMission offers its members opportunities to supplement their annual income as God leads." PhotoMission began operating as an online Christian ministry October 22, 2002. Members are available to meet photographic needs worldwide, and their portfolios contain a broad range of images that include portraits, photojournalism, landscapes, nature and black-and-white photography.
