News ReleaseDated: June-27-2005 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Connie Wragge, Ministry Team Leader & President MEMBERS GATHER TO WORSHIP, PRAY, LEARN Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, USA - Eight members of PhotoMission and six other Christ followers met to worship God and to pray for the worldwide community of Christian photographers they represent. The gathering took place June 23-26, 2005, at Sunrise Community Church, in Atlantic Beach, Florida, www.sunriseefc.com. It was the first meeting of its kind since PhotoMission began in 2002 and the second time in less than a year where God brought members together, both times transforming a virtual community into a real one. The earlier occasion saw six photographers from five countries unite to travel on a missions trip to India. "We gathered first as Christians and secondly, as photographers," explains Connie Wragge, Ministry Leader. "When Christians meet, they have an immediate bond because of their personal relationship with Christ, and time spent in fellowship strengthens the bond." The days at Sunrise Community Church began with a time of praise and worship and were followed by Bible studies and photo workshops. Fellowship continued over meals and with a photo shoot at St. Augustine, America’s oldest continuously settled city. Members attending were: Jacqueline Mills, Frank Meadors, Ruthy Villavicencio, Robert Patton, Mitzie Deike, Paul Triller, Jason Powers and Connie Wragge. Susie Johnson, Pastor Leigh Gregg, Bruce Mills, Diane Macdonald and Steve and Lori Williams joined them. |
